The original plan for this journal was to document my crafting and baking successes and fails, but it turned into an account of what’s happening in the garden. Fitting, I guess, for a blog by crystal and called folia.

I take thousands of photos of flowers and will never have enough time to organize them. Someday, I hope to be able to find real crystallofolia.

I’m a Minnesota master naturalist who is always on the hunt for wildflowers in my Twin Cities garden and beyond. Ephemerals are my favorite.
